The On-U Sound mailing list is a discussion list that talks about the releases and artists on the Adrian Sherwood's On-U Sound label based in London. Artists appear on the label include The Dub Sydicate, African Head Charge, Gary Clail, Lee "Scratch" Perry, and Mark Stewart amongst many others. The style of music on the label is quite broad, ranging from the tortured industrial screams of Mark Stewart through to the deep dub of The Dub Syndicate, all produced in Sherwood's distinctive style. The unofficial On-U Sound archive is located at http://www.skysaw.org/onu and it holds discographies of On-U Sound releases, details of the label's artists, and so on. It's run by one of the mailing list members, David Parker . It incorporates an earlier discography that another list member, Culf, put together with great effort over a long time. Thanks guys! To post a message to all the list members, send email to on-u@object-craft.com.au. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to On-U
